Special End-of-Term Event: The Autumn of Brahms

On Wednesday, November 26, following our final morning lecture, join us in the Lounge for a captivating clarinet and piano recital featuring two world-class musicians:

- James Campbell – internationally acclaimed clarinetist and guest speaker from earlier this year
- Leo Erice – distinguished pianist known for his expressive interpretations
|
Together, they will present “The Autumn of Brahms”, a lecture-recital exploring the poignant and powerful works Johannes Brahms composed after emerging from retirement. The program will include selections from his two clarinet sonatas, offering insight into Brahms’s late creative period and the intimate dialogue between clarinet and piano.
