Title: Prime Ministers and the Presidents
Abstract: J.D.M. Stewart will talk about his book, The Prime Ministers: Canada’s Leaders and the Nation They Shaped. In this presentation he will emphasize the relationship between Canadian prime ministers and American Presidents. Signed copies will be available for purchase after the talk.
Bio: J.D.M. STEWART is a writer, historian, and one of the country’s foremost experts on Canadian prime ministers. His commentary regularly appears in the Globe & Mail, The Hub, and The Literary Review of Canada. His previous book, Being Prime Minister, was a Hill Times Top 100 pick. He has also inspired a generation of students over a thirty-year career teaching high school history in Toronto, Montreal, and Panama City. He lives in Toronto.
