Abstract Several emerging social and technological trends are likely to cause significant disruption to our existing models of health care delivery to older adults. These trends include: increasing longevity, morbidity compression, the “retailization” of healthcare services, the growth of integrated value-based healthcare systems, the advance of remote virtual care platforms, assistive and home monitoring technologies, and the impact of artificial intelligence and hyper-connectivity.  This talk will review some of these trends and their implication for how best to support an aging global population.
